For more than 300 years the Ayling family have farmed at Houghton. At A Barn we are now creating a bespoke and interesting barn conversion that can be enjoyed by everyone. We are passionate about working with our farming assets to move the farm forward with this exciting new enterprise. We are looking forward to welcoming guests and sharing our enthusiasm with others.

With views and walks that are really magnificent, this is certainly going to be popular destination.

For many years we have worked closely with the South Downs National Park and their planning team to agree a design to regenerate our beautiful barn. We have enjoyed designing it and we are now progressing well with the conversion, with a lot of help from a dry spring and this lovely summer weather!
